Campaign Management Editing Live Campaigns Change budget, end date, locations, and optimization goals on a running campaign, or duplicate it into a new draft from the actions menu. Last updated Jun 1, 2026 5 sections You can adjust a running campaign without rebuilding it. Open the Campaign Management page, find the campaign, and click the actions menu ( ... ) to see the edits that apply to that campaign. Available actions depend on the campaign type and its current status. Most edits require the campaign to be Active or Paused . Archived campaigns and fixed-flight YouTube campaigns are read-only from this menu. For a fixed-flight campaign, use Contact support instead. Edit budget Edit budget is available for Active or Paused campaigns. It is hidden on archived and fixed-flight campaigns. Minimums depend on campaign type and budget type: Smart Campaigns: daily budgets start at $10/day, total budgets start at $100. YouTube campaigns: daily budgets start at $10/day, total budgets start at $25. The daily budget cap is $500/day for both types. If you set a total budget, the campaign needs an end date at least 5 days out, and the implied daily spend must stay between $10/day and $500/day. Your account also has a daily spending limit across all active campaigns. If a new budget would push your combined daily spend over that limit, the change is rejected and you are asked to reduce budgets or contact support. Warning Changes are locked while Meta is reviewing a campaign and while Google Ads is still processing it. Wait for review or processing to finish, then edit. Edit end date Edit end date applies to YouTube campaigns that use a daily budget and are Active or Paused . It is not available on Smart Campaigns, shop campaigns, fixed-flight campaigns, or campaigns on a total budget. Moving the end date out keeps the campaign running longer; moving it in stops it sooner. Edit locations Edit locations lets you change the countries a campaign targets while it runs. It is available for Active or Paused campaigns that are not archived or fixed-flight. This action is limited to campaigns created after January 6, 2026. For older campaigns the menu item is disabled and explains why. Edit optimization goals Edit optimization goals is a YouTube-only action for Active or Paused campaigns. It does not appear on Smart Campaigns or shop campaigns. Use it to change what the campaign optimizes toward, such as organic views or subscriber growth, without launching a new campaign. Duplicate campaign Duplicate campaign copies a campaign's setup into a new draft so you can launch a similar one. It carries over the content link, budget type and amount, end date, location targets, and the campaign's strategy or optimization settings. Duplicating opens the matching create flow with those fields prefilled, so you can review and adjust before launching. Smart Campaigns reopen the Smart Campaign builder and YouTube campaigns reopen the YouTube builder. Shop campaigns are analytics-only and cannot be duplicated. If a campaign is missing the Spotify or YouTube content link it was built from, you are prompted to select that content again before continuing. Note A duplicate is a fresh draft, not a running campaign. Nothing spends until you launch it.
