Campaign Management provides a central view of all active, paused, and archived campaigns. Use this page to monitor performance, check statuses, and make adjustments.

Accessing Campaign Management

Go to Marketing and select Campaign Management from the sidebar. It lists every campaign for the current artist, grouped by status.

What to Check

Monitor these key indicators for each campaign:

Indicator What to Look For
Status Deploying, Active, Paused, or Subscription Paused
Spend Whether the campaign is delivering budget as expected
Results Saves, views, or clicks depending on campaign type

Campaign Statuses

Status Meaning
Awaiting SmartLink Campaign is waiting for a Smart Link to be created or validated
Content Validation Campaign is in an internal review step before deployment
Deploying Campaign is being created in the ad platform
Under Review Campaign is in platform review before it can serve
Active Campaign is running and spending budget
Serving Campaign is delivering on the ad platform
Paused Campaign is manually paused, no spend
Subscription Paused Campaign paused because of a billing issue, resumes automatically when payment recovers
Archived Campaign is archived and can be unarchived later
Ended Campaign has reached the end of its run
Issue A problem occurred on the platform or during deployment

Learning Badge

A campaign shows the Learning badge when it is less than 7 days old and currently Active or Deploying. During this period, the ad platform is optimizing targeting and performance may fluctuate daily.

Meta and Spotify campaigns show a standalone Learning badge. YouTube (Google) campaigns fold the same early-learning state into their Google delivery-status badge instead of showing a separate Learning badge.

Note The learning period is normal. Wait for at least 7 days before evaluating campaign performance or making changes.

Safe Adjustments

When making changes to active campaigns:

Recommendation Why
Wait 7 days before changes Let the campaign complete its learning period first
One change at a time Multiple simultaneous changes make it hard to identify what worked
Use trend views Compare Last 7 days vs Last 28 days to judge direction

When to Pause

Pause a campaign if:

  • The promoted content or link is incorrect
  • A platform connection is broken and needs reconnection
  • You need to stop spend temporarily for budget reasons
  • The campaign is underperforming after the learning period

See Pausing Campaigns for detailed instructions.
