Platform Connections Connecting Apple Music Connect an Apple Music Artist URL to import your albums, tracks, music videos, and playlists into your Dynamoi catalog. Last updated Jun 1, 2026 6 sections Connecting Apple Music pulls your artist profile and full catalog into Dynamoi. After you connect, Dynamoi imports your albums, tracks, music videos, and playlists so they are available across the dashboard. Prerequisites You need the Apple Music Artist URL for the artist you want to connect. The URL comes from Apple Music and looks like https://music.apple.com/us/artist/artist-name/123456789 . It must point to an artist page, not an album, song, or playlist page. Each Apple Music artist can be connected to only one Dynamoi artist. If the URL belongs to an artist already connected elsewhere, the connection is rejected. Connection steps Open Platform Connections Go to Platform Connections from the dashboard sidebar. Start the Apple Music connection Click Connect in the Apple Music row. A dialog titled Connect Apple Music opens. Paste the Apple Music Artist URL Paste the URL into the field labeled Paste Apple Music Artist URL here . If the URL is not a valid Apple Music artist link, the field shows Not a valid Apple Music Artist URL . Connect Click Connect Apple Music . The dialog shows progress while Dynamoi fetches your profile and imports your catalog. Note Large catalogs can take up to 90 seconds to import. Keep the dialog open while the import runs. What gets imported When the connection succeeds, Dynamoi reads your Apple Music artist profile and imports your discography. The import covers four content types: albums, tracks, music videos, and playlists. Each item stores details such as title, artwork, genres, ISRC, record label, and release date when Apple Music provides them. After a successful import, the dialog closes and a notification confirms with Apple Music connected. Your catalog is ready. The Apple Music row then updates to show your connected artist name. Refreshing your catalog If your Apple Music catalog changes after you connect, use Refresh Apple Music data in the Apple Music row. A refresh re-reads your profile and re-imports your discography, replacing the previously imported items for that artist. The row can also prompt you when a refresh is recommended, shown as Refresh needed . Disconnecting To remove the connection, use Disconnect Apple Music in the Apple Music row. Disconnecting removes the Apple Music link and the imported catalog rows for that artist from Dynamoi. If the connection fails If the URL cannot be validated or the import does not complete, a Connection Failed notification appears with a short reason. Common causes: The URL is not an Apple Music artist page. Use a link that points to an artist, not an album, song, or playlist. The artist could not be found on Apple Music for the storefront in the URL. The Apple Music artist is already connected to another Dynamoi artist. Fix the URL or pick a different artist, then try again.
