YouTube video media for Smart Links

Smart Links can now feature a YouTube video hero and report video plays alongside streaming clicks.

Centered Video Links title card with subtle play-button and link decorations

Smart Links can now lead with a YouTube video instead of static artwork. The link page still keeps the streaming destinations close by, while video plays become part of the Smart Link analytics picture.

What changed

  • Added YouTube URL support to Smart Link media settings.
  • Added an embedded video hero to the public Smart Link page.
  • Kept streaming service buttons visible below the video.
  • Counted video plays alongside Smart Link click activity.
  • Tightened validation so artists can preview the link before sharing it.

Why it matters

Some campaigns are built around a video, not only a track or album page. A video-first Smart Link gives artists one destination for watching, listening, and promotion.
