Playlists

Track the playlists an artist's music is on: reach, new placements, rank and size changes, daily updates, and promoting a Spotify playlist.

Last updated Oct 19, 20265 sections

The Playlists page tracks every playlist Dynamoi finds the artist's music on, with each playlist's reach and how placements move. Open it from Marketing → Playlists. The page updates daily.

Requirements

Playlists needs a connected Spotify artist profile. Before that, the page shows "Track every playlist your music lands on" with Connect Spotify; a team member with view-only access needs someone with edit access to connect it. See Connecting Spotify.

After connecting, the first snapshot arrives with the next daily update. Movement appears once two daily snapshots exist.

The Playlists item is hidden from the sidebar for an artist set up as a YouTube creator.

Summary

The top of the page shows:

  • Playlists: how many playlists are tracked, and how many are new since the last update
  • Reach: the combined audience of tracked playlists, and its change since the last update
  • Spotify listeners: the artist's monthly listeners
  • Reach trend: combined playlist reach over recent updates
  • Latest changes: recent rank moves, size changes, and new placements

Current playlists

The Current playlists table lists each placement:

Column Meaning
Playlist Playlist name, linked to the playlist

Type Editorial, Algorithmic, Curator, or Playlist
Reach The playlist's audience size

Current rank The track's current position in the playlist
Added When the track was added, when known

Use Search playlists to filter by name, sort any column, and change the number of rows per page.

Promote a playlist

Spotify rows have a Promote action. It opens a new Smart Campaign with that playlist selected. See Creating a Smart Campaign.
