Campaign Management
Editing Live Campaigns
See which active or paused campaigns can edit budget, end date, countries, YouTube goals, or monetization mode and which campaigns remain locked.
Open All Campaigns, then use the campaign actions menu. Edit controls appear only when the server-side capability policy allows them.
Common eligibility
Budget and location edits require a campaign that is:
- Active or Paused
- Not Archived
- Not a fixed-flight YouTube campaign
- Not a shop-linked analytics-only campaign
- In a provider state that permits mutation
Your account also needs mutation access and current billing authority for spend-increasing changes.
Edit budget
Eligible campaigns can expose Edit budget. The form enforces the current campaign limits:
| Campaign type | Daily minimum | Total minimum | Daily maximum | Minimum duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Meta Smart Campaign | $10/day | $50 and enough for the selected duration | $500/day | 5 days |
| Managed YouTube | $10/day | $75 and enough for the selected duration | $500/day | 5 days |
Lowering a budget does not rewrite already settled provider spend.
Edit locations
Location editing follows the common rules and is enabled only for campaigns created on or after January 6, 2026. Smart Campaign targeting uses Worldwide, Recommended markets, or Choose countries; the legacy exclude-country mode is not part of current authoring.
YouTube-only edits
Eligible non-fixed, non-shop YouTube campaigns can also expose:
Edit end datefor daily-budget campaignsEdit optimization goalsEdit monetization modewhen the channel is not monetized or the campaign is already using Monetization Qualification mode
Fixed-flight campaigns keep these edits locked. Self-serve Maximize Views can use the supported status queue for a pause request, but that does not make the flight editable.
Duplicate instead of edit
Duplicate campaign creates a new draft from an eligible existing campaign. Use it when the original campaign is ended, archived, fixed-flight, shop-linked, or otherwise outside the live-edit boundary. Review every copied field before submitting because platform readiness and budget rules are evaluated again.
Warning Provider mutations are asynchronous. Wait for the current update to settle before submitting another edit, especially after a budget, status, or location change.
