MCP Server
Dynamoi CLI
Install the dynamoi command line, sign in through your browser, and run Dynamoi music promotion tools from a terminal, a script, or an AI agent that runs shell commands.
The dynamoi command line runs Dynamoi from your terminal: check Spotify and YouTube campaign results, build free Smart Links, and launch campaigns with your explicit consent. It works with any distributor. Use it yourself, in a script, or from an AI agent that can run shell commands.
The CLI is a thin client for the hosted Dynamoi MCP server at https://dynamoi.com/mcp, so it uses the same account, tools, and consent rules as the dashboard and your AI assistant. After you sign in, it has the same tools as the full MCP profile. New tools appear without an update.
Install
Run it once with npx, or install it with npm or Homebrew. It needs Node 20 or newer.
npx dynamoi login
npm install --global dynamoi
brew trust getdynamoi/tap && brew install getdynamoi/tap/dynamoi
Homebrew asks you to trust a third-party tap once before installing from it.
dynamoi login
dynamoi whoami
dynamoi logout
dynamoi login opens the Dynamoi sign-in page in your browser, dynamoi whoami shows the signed-in account, and dynamoi logout revokes the session and deletes the stored tokens. Sign-in uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and a loopback redirect to 127.0.0.1 on your computer, the same sign-in that Claude Code and Codex use. The CLI registers itself, so there are no API keys to create or copy.
Your tokens are stored in your operating system's keychain: macOS Keychain, or the Secret Service on Linux. Where no keychain is available, they go to a file in ~/.config/dynamoi that only your user can read. Sessions refresh on their own. You can review or revoke the CLI at any time in Connected Apps.
Run commands
dynamoi tools
dynamoi help get-campaign
dynamoi list-artists
dynamoi get-artist-analytics --artist-id <id> --json
dynamoi tools lists every tool your account can use, and dynamoi help <command> shows the flags for one. Each command is a Dynamoi tool name without its dynamoi_ prefix, with dashes. Flags come from the tool's inputs: --artist-id sets artistId. Add --json to print the structured result.
Paid and consequential actions
Tools that spend money or submit something for you need explicit confirmation. The CLI never confirms on your behalf:
- In a terminal, it shows a summary of the action and asks you to confirm before it continues.
- In a script or an agent, the confirmation must be passed as a flag, such as
--confirm-application-submission. An agent should pass it only after you approve the action. - Consent versions and hashes are always passed explicitly.
dynamoi help <command>lists them.
Dynamoi refuses the action without them. Budgets follow the same funding rules as the web app, subscriptions start only in the Dynamoi dashboard, and results are never guaranteed.
