YouTube Campaigns
YouTube Monetization Requirements
Track your progress toward the YouTube Partner Program: 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 non-ad watch hours, with revenue metrics until approval.
To earn revenue on YouTube, your channel must be accepted into the YouTube Partner Program (YPP). Dynamoi tracks your progress toward that bar and adjusts how your campaigns optimize until you are approved.
What YPP requires
The AdSense Optimization page checks two channel-level thresholds:
- 1,000 subscribers
- 4,000 public watch hours
These watch hours are non-ad watch time. Time watched through advertising traffic does not count toward the 4,000-hour target, which matches how YouTube measures eligibility. You also need to enable YPP from inside YouTube Studio once you qualify.
Note Connect your YouTube channel and have at least one YouTube campaign before the AdSense Optimization page becomes available.
Revenue stays hidden until approval
Until your channel is monetized, revenue metrics on the AdSense Optimization page are masked. In place of revenue figures you see a Monetization Missing panel that explains the remaining steps and links to Open YouTube Studio.
During this period, your campaigns do not sit idle. Instead of optimizing for revenue signals you cannot earn yet, the optimization engine targets watch hours and returning viewers, which are the metrics that move you toward eligibility.
After YouTube approves your channel, the masking lifts and the optimization engine combines organic lift with revenue signals such as RPM and AdSense totals to improve payback over time. Performance is never guaranteed.
Track your qualification pace
The Monetization Qualification Pace panel shows where you stand against both thresholds:
Subscribers: your current count out of 1,000, with the number remaining.Non-Ad Watch Hours: your current non-ad hours out of 4,000, with the number remaining.
Each row includes a progress bar so you can see how close you are at a glance.
Estimated time to eligibility
Below the progress bars, three estimates project how long each goal will take at your recent pace:
ETA to 1,000 subs: days to reach the subscriber target.ETA to 4,000 hours: days to reach the non-ad watch-hour target.Estimated days to monetization: the longer of the two, since you need both.
Pace is measured over a 28-day window using your net subscriber gain and your non-ad watch hours. When a goal is already met, the estimate reads Eligible now. When there is not enough recent movement to project a date, it reads Not enough pace data yet.
Tip Promoting videos that earn organic watch time and subscribers, rather than ad-only views, moves your non-ad watch hours and subscriber pace fastest.
After you qualify
Once you cross both thresholds, enable YPP in YouTube Studio and wait for YouTube to review your channel. When approval lands and Dynamoi detects monetization is active, revenue metrics appear automatically on the AdSense Optimization page and your campaigns begin folding revenue signals into optimization.
