Billing
Credits & Spending
Learn how introductory and monthly campaign credits are granted, applied, displayed, expired, and restricted by billing authority.
Campaign credit is the ledger balance used before eligible managed-advertising usage is charged to a saved payment method.
Where credit comes from
| Plan | Monthly credit | One-time introductory credit | First-month total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $25 | $25 | $50 |
| Plus | $300 | $300 | $600 |
The introductory credit is available once per artist/customer lifetime after an eligible first Checkout settles and is verified. Each eligible paid renewal grants the plan's monthly credit.
How credit is applied
Eligible campaign usage is metered and submitted through the billing pipeline. Available campaign credit is applied before a payable card amount is calculated. The Billing page is a projection of application and Stripe events, so a short delay can occur while payments, credit grants, or usage settle.
The Credit balance card can show:
| Row | Meaning |
|---|---|
Available |
Credit ready to cover eligible usage |
Clearing |
Credit waiting for the associated payment to settle |
Expiring soon |
Credit scheduled to expire within 30 days |
Stripe's hosted invoice remains authoritative for collected cash and invoice state.
Expiration and cancellation
Paid-plan campaign credit expires 12 months after grant. Scheduling a subscription cancellation does not immediately remove the paid entitlement; it remains through the current paid period. After cancellation becomes effective, entitlement returns to Free, while retained credit follows the billing ledger's rules.
Credit is not delivery authority
Credit can cover eligible usage, but it does not override other launch or resume requirements. A campaign can still be held when:
- The subscription or payment state is unhealthy
- Required Spotify, Meta, YouTube, or Google linking is incomplete
- A provider review or policy state blocks mutation
- A campaign would exceed a safety or budget rule
Automatic saved-card top-ups are disabled, so Dynamoi does not promise that a campaign will continue spending when available credit is exhausted.
Limited fixed-flight exceptions
In limited, pre-approved cases, Dynamoi can reserve credit for a fixed YouTube flight with an exact end date. This is not a general self-service fallback and does not reopen daily-budget delivery, budget increases, or additional launches while billing is suspended.
