| Effect | Details |
|---|---|
| Spend stops | No budget is spent while paused |
| Results stop | No new views, saves, or clicks accumulate |

| Learning resets | If resumed, the campaign may need to re-enter a learning period |
Note When you resume a paused campaign, delivery may take a few hours to ramp back up. The ad platform needs time to re-optimize targeting.

Pausedcampaigns if needed.Resume the campaign Open the
Actionsmenu on the campaign and selectResume campaign.
Resume campaign is only available for campaigns you paused yourself. Campaigns with a Subscription Paused status follow a different recovery path described below.
Subscription Paused
The Subscription Paused status means the campaign was automatically paused because of a billing issue. This can happen when:
- Managed advertising billing has lapsed
- A payment method has failed
You do not resume a Subscription Paused campaign manually. Once the failed payment is recovered, the campaign resumes automatically. Go to Billing and select Resolve or Manage Billing to fix the payment, then the campaign returns to delivery on its own.
Note Your free Smart Links and other marketing tools keep working regardless of billing status.
