Archiving Campaigns

Archive a finished Dynamoi campaign to clean up your list, keep historical analytics, and unarchive it later if needed.

Archiving moves a campaign out of your active list while keeping all historical analytics. Archiving is reversible: you can unarchive a campaign later to bring it back as Paused.

Archiving is available for YouTube (Google) and Spotify Beta campaigns from a Paused or Ended state. Smart Campaigns on Meta cannot be archived, so they have no Archive campaign action.

When to Archive

Archive a campaign when:

  • The campaign has finished its run and you do not need it in your active list
  • The promoted content is no longer relevant
  • You want to clean up your active campaign list

Note You can unarchive a campaign later. Unarchiving returns it to Paused, so you can resume it from there.

How to Archive

  1. Open Campaign Management Go to Marketing and select Campaign Management from the sidebar.

  2. Pause if needed If the campaign is currently Active, pause it first. Active campaigns cannot be archived directly.

  3. Archive the campaign Open the Actions menu on the campaign, select Archive campaign, then confirm when prompted.

What Happens After Archiving

Effect Details
Delivery stops No budget is spent on an archived campaign
Analytics preserved All historical data remains accessible
Reversible Open the Actions menu and select Unarchive campaign to return it to Paused
Still visible Find archived campaigns using the Archived filter in Campaign Management

A campaign that was Subscription Paused before archiving stays billing-locked after you unarchive it. Resolve the billing issue in Billing to return it to delivery.

Viewing Archived Campaigns

To view archived campaigns:

  1. Go to Campaign Management
  2. Use the status filter dropdown
  3. Select Archived to show only archived campaigns

Archived campaigns display the same analytics and metrics as when they were active. This data is useful for comparing performance across campaigns or reviewing historical results.
