Adding Releases and Playlists

Add music to your Dynamoi catalog: import an artist by Spotify profile URL, sync new releases, add a missing album, single, or EP by link, and add Spotify or Apple Music playlists.

Dynamoi builds the catalog from the artist's Spotify profile, and every release gets a Smart Link. To add more, open Marketing > Smart Links > All Links and use Sync Releases for new releases, Missing a release? for one album, single, or EP, or Add Playlist for a Spotify or Apple Music playlist.

Import the catalog

When the artist's Spotify isn't connected, All Links shows a Spotify catalog panel. Paste the Spotify artist profile URL and choose Import Catalog; Dynamoi imports the artist's releases and prepares a Smart Link for each. Connecting Spotify in Account > Connections keeps the catalog in sync and is required for Smart Campaigns. See Connecting Spotify.

Sync new releases

Choose Sync Releases to check Spotify for releases added since the last import.

Add a missing release

  1. Choose Missing a release? The link appears in All Links, sometimes with a note about a recent release that may not be in your catalog yet.

  2. Paste the Spotify link Paste the Spotify album, single, or EP link and choose Add release.

  3. Wait for the Smart Link You see Release added. Its Smart Link is being prepared.

Message Fix
That doesn't look like a Spotify link. Paste the link to the release. Copy the link from Spotify again

Add a playlist

  1. Choose Add Playlist Paste a Spotify or Apple Music playlist link. A preview appears.

  2. Add it Choose Add. The playlist appears under the Playlists tab with its own Smart Link.

To remove a playlist you added, choose Remove from Catalog on it.

Note Apple Music playlist Smart Links can be published and shared, but Smart Campaigns still need Spotify content. To promote a playlist with a Smart Campaign, add its Spotify version.
