Distribution
Submit a Release
Submit eligible music for Dynamoi Distribution with release metadata, tracks, collaborator splits, rights disclosures, proofs, and attestations.
The Submit New Release page is available only when the selected artist has manage-level Distribution access and the current user can make changes for that artist.
Open Distribution > Submit New Release. Viewer-level Distribution access can see Analytics, Catalog, and Earnings but cannot open this page.
Before you can submit
Release intake checks the artist's Distribution state. Depending on the account, you may need to:
- Receive Distribution approval.
- Open and accept the current Distribution agreement.
- Complete the required tax and payout setup shown in the Delivery Setup card.
The page may temporarily show that release intake is being prepared while required database or provider setup is still pending.
Release basics and tracks
Enter:
- Release title.
- Type:
Single,EP, orAlbum. - Desired release date.
- Optional label name.
- At least one track title.
- Optional version title and ISRC for each track.
The form provides up to 12 track rows. Release and track titles are limited to 256 characters, version titles to 128 characters, label names to 256 characters, and notes to 2,000 characters.
A desired date less than 21 days from submission forces manual review. Review and provider delivery can still take longer, so the selected date is a request rather than a delivery guarantee.
Collaborator splits
You can enter up to five collaborator rows with:
- Name
- Role
- Share percentage
Each completed split needs a valid email and share, and collaborator shares cannot total more than 100%. Optional collaborators must accept their splits and complete applicable readiness requirements before their shares can be delivered or paid.
Rights and AI disclosures
Disclose whether the release involves:
- A catalog transfer.
- A cover song.
- Samples.
- A leased beat.
- Loops.
- An interpolation.
- Voice-clone, soundalike, or impersonation risk.
Select one AI disclosure: No AI assistance, Human-led AI assistance, or Fully AI-generated.
Warning Voice-clone, soundalike, and impersonation-risk releases are not accepted by the current release-intake workflow.
Required proof
A checked disclosure can require the corresponding proof before submission:
| Disclosure | Required proof |
|---|---|
| Cover song | Cover mechanical license |
| Contains samples | Sample clearance |
| Leased beat | Beat license |
| Uses loops | Loop license |
| Interpolation | Interpolation clearance |
| Catalog transfer | Catalog transfer authorization |
| Fully AI-generated | AI ownership statement |
The form also accepts an Other proof upload. Supported proof files are PDF, JPG/JPEG, PNG, WebP, and plain-text files, up to 25 MB each. Uploaded proof is subject to review; uploading a file does not establish that the rights are valid or sufficient.
Required attestations
Every attestation must be accepted before submission. You attest that:
- You own or control the master recording rights.
- You have the rights needed to distribute the release.
- No conflicting distributor currently controls it.
- The metadata is accurate.
- You will not use fraud or artificial streaming.
- Collaborators and contributors gave permission.
- Covers, samples, loops, beats, interpolations, and other clearances were disclosed.
- AI assistance was disclosed accurately.
- Provider-policy review may delay or prevent delivery.
Review status
A submitted release appears under Recent Releases with one of these statuses:
SubmittedChanges requestedApprovedRejected
Proof-required releases, human-assisted AI disclosures, and short lead times require manual review. Dynamoi or a provider may request changes, reject the release, or delay delivery. Submission and approval do not guarantee that every store will accept the release or publish it on the requested date.
Takedowns and termination
The same page shows prior takedown or termination requests and, after the agreement is accepted, a form to request a release takedown or account termination. Store and provider removals can take time, and existing royalty tails, reserves, reversals, offsets, and statement corrections can continue after a takedown request.
